Community Greens Baltimore: Launch and Design
Overview
Join Ashoka, our inaugural Community Green Champion cohort, and our community partners to help shape the mutualist pilot at our Community Greens Design Charrette.
From community interviews, we're launching a six-month leadership-innovation pilot for green changemakers in Black Butterfly Communities. This event lays the foundation for our pilot program, where Community Green Champions will co-create the Mutualist Playbook: A guide for community-led economic solidarity and governance among local green leaders.
Join our changemaking community! Team up with local green leaders to create transformative economic innovation based on mutualism.
What to Expect:
Inspiring Presentation: Hear from Ashoka's inaugural cohort of Community Green Champions—Baltimore trailblazers driving transformative change in their neighborhoods.
Interactive Design Session: Collaborate in dynamic group activities to tackle key questions such as: How can we create an independent economic engine among Community Greening Champions and stakeholders?
Networking & Community Building: Forge meaningful connections with like-minded individuals over food, fellowship, and design-thinking activities with others dedicated to a greener, more equitable Baltimore.
Actionable Outcomes: Contribute to the creation of a playbook grounded in mutualism and a community-driven fund to support Baltimore's green community.
