Community Geodesign Workshop 2
Overview
Dundrum by Design is thrilled to announce two dates for the next community Geodesign workshop!
Thanks to local feedback and submissions, this in-person event will build on the results gathered from the last community Geodesign workshop, the community voting and Meitheal mapping guiding future urban changes in Dundrum, such as the Living Streets initiative.
This time, our team is presenting community-backed solutions for mitigating and adapting to a changing climate in Dundrum. We are also creating an exhibition featuring student proposals inspired by our Open House Dublin event in October, informed by experiences with community members.
Join our travelling team from the University of Naples and gain hands-on experience co-designing the future of Dundrum!
Dundrum by Design is a collaboration between UCD School of Architecture, Planning and Environmental Policy, Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council and the community of Dundrum. This partnership is funded by the EU Horizon 2020- PROBONO project. Feedback gathered through this process will be shared with Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council and will be considered before any Living Streets design work. Suggestions must be consistent with both national and local policies, including the Dundrum Local Area Plan and the Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Development Plan.
