This event is a collaboration of community partnerships that will include the Excellence in Practice training presented by Iain De Jong, OrgCode President and CEO.

This series is designed for anyone passionate about making a difference — community members, local organizations, and housing advocates alike. Whether you’re an experienced service provider or someone who simply wants to help, these trainings will give you the tools to create meaningful change.

The Excellence in Practice training by OrgCode will provide your organization and staff with the foundational understanding and skills necessary to successfully apply the Housing First Model in your homeless and housing programs.

The Housing First Model is a proven, compassionate approach that prioritizes stable housing as the first step toward long-term success. By combining low-barrier access to housing with essential supportive services, we can break the cycle of homelessness and build stronger, healthier communities. The Housing First Model is an evidence-based, highly effective, low barrier approach to addressing homelessness by prioritizing stable housing with appropriate supportive services that maximize housing success.

Neighborhood Place of Puna in partnership with the County of Hawai'i and the Community Alliance Partners (CAP) have organized a series of Excellence in Practice training events throughout the year to develop and implement a collaborative social service system that provides compassionate, equitable, and responsive care to ensure all residents are successful and thriving.
