Join us for a fun and relaxed community bike ride along the scenic Dunwoody Trailway! This free, family-friendly ride is a great way to explore Dunwoody’s connected parks and greenways—perfect for individuals, couples, and families looking to get outdoors and connect with neighbors.

🚓 Members of the Dunwoody Police Department and City Council will be riding along to support the event.

🗓️ Schedule:

  • 10:00 AM: Welcome & safety talk with Council Member Joe Seconder
  • 10:15 AM: Group ride begins – a scenic 3.2-mile roundtrip through Brook Run Park, Pernoshal Park, and Georgetown Park
  • 11:15 AM: Ride ends – stick around for post-ride refreshments and community fun!

👥 Who Should Come?

All are welcome—from confident elementary-age riders to active adults of all generations. The pace will be easygoing, and the group will stay together throughout the ride.

🔸 Children under age 14 must be accompanied by a parent or responsible adult throughout the ride.🔸 This ride is not suitable for training wheels, scoot bikes, or tricycles.

The route is approximately 3.2 miles roundtrip along a comfortable and beginner-friendly paved trail, much of it shaded and winding through wooded park areas. We'll ride at a relaxed, social pace, stopping along the way to highlight park amenities and share updates on future trail plans. We’ll make sure the group stays together, regrouping after trail crossings and at key points.

📝 What to Bring:

  • A bike in good working condition
  • A helmet
  • A full water bottle
  • Comfortable clothes – no spandex needed!
  • And most importantly… a fun, can-do attitude! 😄

Free to attend, but registration is required.
