Communities in Motion is a 3-day event for high school students in the New York City area who are interested in building community and creating change within their schools and with other students from across the city. Students will have the opportunity to grow in their leadership, critical thinking and socio-emotional skills while engaging in meaningful dialogue about the world they live in. Activities include facilitated conversation around the passions of our city’s youth, brainstorming sessions for implementing change, and community building exercises that foster respect, empathy and connection.
This year's event will take place at Christ The King High School in Queens, NY.
