Presenter: Kelly Rickert, Professor of American Sign Language. Marian University

One out of 10 individuals throughout the normal population have some degree of hearing loss. In this session, communication barrier information will be addressed. Attendees will learn techniques to assist with overcoming those barriers. Exposure to the importance of nonmanual markers in all communication models will be emphasized.

This event will be held at the Fond du Lac Public Library in the McLane room.

Registration and socializing is from 5:30-6:00 pm

Course time is 6:00-7:30 pm
