Hello and Welcome!
You are invited to participate in Communicating with Your Adolescent: A 2-Part Series, hosted by Small Town Counseling CA, Inc.
Join Veronica Tovar, LCSW , RYT 200 and Emily Flosi, ASW as they teach you about the brain of your adolescent child, important developmental tips, and tools to better communicate.
Who Should Attend
This workshop is intended for one parent/caregiver and one child age 12-18.
As this is a 2-part series, both the parent/caregiver and child must attend Part I and Part II scheduled for November 2nd and 16th .
What to Expect
Part I (November 2nd) will cover education on the child brain, important developmental milestones, and introductory information to the tools and strategies that will be used in Part II.
Part II (November 16th) is an active workshop that provides real time practice of the learned tools and strategies from part I. Veronica and Emily will model communication tools and facilitate guided practice between you and your child.
Registration
Registration Fee includes 2 participants (caregiver and child) and access to both Part I and Part II.
Space Available
This event is a small group workshop designed to maximize opportunity for Q&A and open discussion, and maximize your learning experience . Space is limited to 10 participants total.
