Communicating in Print: What are your Options?
Overview
From books, to op-eds, to social media, how we communicate with the printed word is vital to a functioning democracy. This workshop will walk through motivation, audience analysis, and format for communicating effectively in print.
Ticket sales from this fundraising workshop will benefit Mission Belonging programs for veterans, service members, military families, and health care workers. A limited number of FREE tickets for Veterans, Service Members, and Healthcare workers are available on a first come, first served basis. This workshop will be recorded and a link will be e-mailed to all ticket holders once the recording is available.*

Colonel Bree Fram served 23 years in the US Space Force and Air Force. Bree is a lifelong public servant, national security expert, and astronautical engineer who joined the military after the attacks of September 11th. Bree dedicated her career to defending the nation, strengthening our government, and leading with character. One of the highest-ranking openly transgender officers in military history, she fought to become the best version of herself and for the rights of others to do the same.
She has written three books, including Forging Queer Leaders, and hosts the Forged in Fire: LGBTQ+ Leadership podcast.
Bree has appeared on ABC, NBC, CBS, NPR, and PBS and her writing has been featured in the NY Times, Washington Post, and more. She’s a keynote speaker on leadership, inclusion, and democracy.
