An Evening With Be With Records Founder Rob Butler
Join us on June 26th as we host Rob Butler, founder of famed UK record label Be With Records, as he presents current releases and previews what's to come with exclusive vinyl test presses.
Rob Butler founded Be With Records in London in 2014, starting with a reissue of Leon Ware’s self-titled LP. Now based in Manchester, the label has released over 200 titles, earning a reputation for the highest quality vinyl reissues.
From KPM to Kimiko Kasai, the label’s eclectic catalog—once dubbed a “baffling roster” by Pitchfork—makes perfect sense to Rob and resonates with a growing audience.
Beyond classic reissues, Be With now releases first-time vinyl editions of music previously only available digitally. While there are plenty of opportunities to release unheard gems, the label isn’t rushing to become a full-fledged record company—just happily continuing to unearth music that deserves a second life on vinyl.
