Event description
Continuing Education Opportunity for Community-Based Care Coordinators October 27 – November 19, 2020

About this Event

SWACH’s HealthConnect HUB offers a continuing education opportunity for community-based care coordinators to share and learn common principles and practices of CHWs and Peers.

The training is offered virtually using a popular education framework- a highly effective strategy for sharing information, building skills and developing leadership. Facilitators are Peer Supporters, CHWs, and experienced educators and developers of CHW and Peer workforce development opportunities.

“Popular education is based on the idea that, whether we are farmworkers, doctors, waitresses or lawyers, we all know a lot as a result of our life experience. Therefore, educators and organizers should always start with what people already know and build on it.”

Participation in this continuing education opportunity is offered free of charge and requires a commitment to participate in all eight sessions. This is an opportunity to share, learn and strengthen your networking connections with a cohort of community-based care coordinators in our region.

When registering for this class, be sure to use an email address that can receive attachments and you check frequently as we will be communicating about the class as we get closer to the dates.

Register TODAY to be a part of 8 online sessions with a cohort of community-based care coordinators from the Southwest Washington region.
