Braver Angels Music is bringing our Common Ground Songwriting Workshop to New York City for the first time! (Video / New York Times)
This unique workshop is designed to bring together community members of different political perspectives to find common ground on an issue they care about - all through the creative act of songwriting!
The experience is facilitated by a trained Braver Angels Music songwriter who will guide you from start to finish. The workshop begins with a facilitated group conversation that allows everyone to express their perspectives freely and openly. That conversation will then transform into a group songwriting experience where we'll turn our dialogue and perspectives into a song.
No musical experience necessary!
Monday, September 15: 6pm-9pm (Dialogue & Songwriting)
Tuesday, September 16: 6pm-9pm (Finish Songwriting)
Wednesday, September 17: 6pm-9pm (Sound Check & Concert)
