We are delighted to announce the return of Hannah Croft, Norland Nanny and International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC). Hannah will be providing training focused on common feeding issues many families face when feeding their newborn.
This twilight training course will discuss resolutions for the following feeding issues:
- Painful Breastfeeding
- Unsettled bottle-fed babies
- Low weight gain in babies
- Reflux
- Tongue tie
- Guideline changes around engorgement, blocked ducts, mastitis and thrush
Hannah CroftHannah Croft is an IBCLC and has run her private practise in Canterbury, Kent, for over 6.5 years, supporting families with feeding their babies, not only locally, but all around the world.
After training and working as a Norland Nanny (Set 28) Hannah thought that feeding and caring for her own babies would come easily, but she really struggled with breastfeeding her own 2 children, now aged 13 & 10. Her difficulties motivated her to become qualified in offering information and support to other parents in order that they could feed their babies in the way they wanted to, and with information to empower them in their choices.
Hannah sat the IBLCE exam, which included the prerequisites of 1000 clinical hours of supporting families with feeding, and she qualified in 2018. Hannah set up her own private practice where she now offers in person and virtual support, as well as various courses and workshops to support both parents and professionals with infant feeding. You can find her on social media as Hannah Croft IBCLC.
