At sunset on August 6, 2025, in observance of the nuclear bombing of Hiroshima 80 years ago, live Butoh dance and taiko will accompany a video projection onto the Waikīkī War Memorial Natatorium. The Renkon Project brings together a multigenerational group of artists committed to spreading the message of pilina, the relationship between all living things. Please bring your own picnic, beach chairs, blankets, and rain protection if needed. No pop up tents. This event is free and open to the public.
