❄️ Severe Weather Refund Policy

Policy Overview

This policy applies when severe weather conditions impact our conference and attendees' ability to travel safely.

Definition of Severe Weather

For the purposes of this policy, "severe weather" includes any of the following conditions occurring during the week of the conference (3 days before):

• National Weather Service warnings, including but not limited to: hurricane warnings, blizzard warnings, ice storm warnings, or severe thunderstorm warnings affecting the conference location or major travel routes
• Official travel restrictions issued by federal, state, or local government authorities for the conference location
• State of emergency declaration by the Governor or local authorities for the conference region
• Airport closures or flight cancellations affecting 50% or more of scheduled flights to the nearest major airport
• Venue closure due to weather conditions as determined by venue management or local authorities

Refund Terms

If Conference Proceeds as Scheduled

If the conference takes place but you are unable to attend due to severe weather conditions meeting the above criteria:

• You will receive a full credit toward registration for our next conference
• Credit must be used within 12 months of the original conference date
• Credit is transferable to another person within your organization
• No cash refund will be provided if the conference proceeds

If the Conference Is Cancelled

If we cancel the conference due to severe weather:

• You will receive a 50% refund of your registration fee
• Refunds will be processed within 30 business days
• The remaining 50% will be retained to cover non-recoverable costs, including venue deposits, vendor commitments, and administrative expenses
• Attendees will be notified via email if the conference is cancelled

How to Request a Refund or Credit

1. Submit your request via email to info@togetherindigital.com within 3 days of the conference date
2. Include proof of severe weather impact (flight cancellation notice, travel advisory screenshot, etc.)
3. Include your registration confirmation number
4. Specify whether you are requesting a refund (if eligible) or credit

Important Notes

• We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to cover additional costs beyond registration fees
• This policy does not cover cancellations due to personal inconvenience, minor weather delays, or general travel difficulties not meeting the severe weather criteria
• All refund and credit decisions are at the sole discretion of conference organizers and are based on documented severe weather conditions
• Conference organizers will communicate any cancellation decisions at least 48 hours prior to the event start time, when possible
