Designer and bag lady Julie Mollo was always inspired by retro-classy fashion that never took itself too seriously. While still in college, Julie started her career in stage-wear by cold emailing Katy Perry's manager on myspace and creating the iconic, fruit-inspired ensembles Katy wore during her breakout years. Eight years into her fashion career, Julie took the same shapes that covered her starlet's frocks and sewed them onto some extra glitter vinyl she had laying around her apartment and in doing so created her first clutch- the flamingo.
