Comics & Calm is part of a series of workshops that focus on art-making and mental health, sponsored by QCAP (the Queens College AANAPISI Project).
Join us on Tuesday, October 14 (CUNY Monday), from 12:00-1:30pm, in the Muyskens Conference Room in the Summit (see campus map) for our next QCAP Art + Mental Health Workshop with illustrator/artist/comics creator/educator Hyesu Lee!
Feeling overwhelmed, stressed, or just need a creative break? This hands-on workshop uses comics to help you explore your emotions, build self-awareness, and have some fun along the way. You’ll learn how to turn everyday experiences into comic stories that highlight your inner superhero. No prior experience required, and all QC students are welcome!
Snacks will be provided!
QCAP is mask-friendly—masks are encouraged, because we want to keep our communities as safe and healthy as possible, but they are not required.
