Gary Petersen is a Boston-born comedian whose wicked sense of humor and uncompromising voice have made him a standout in the New England comedy scene. Named Best Comedian by Boston Magazine in 2016, Petersen blends sharp observational wit, absurd scenarios, and a fearless look at life’s oddities—from overdrafting his bank account to buying fast food and choosing it over financial sanity. Petersen’s comedic signature? A blend of honesty, absurdity, and a kind of punk-rock moral backbone—pulling humor out of both the light and the dark, making you squirm a little, then laugh hard. Whether he’s screaming at kids in malls or analyzing the existential dread of grocery shopping, he brings a perspective that’s equal parts humorous and unflinching.
Jake Jensen is a Cape Cod comic and part of Paperback Comedy. His use of dark humor and cold delivery is sure to get you giggling. Jake has opened for acts such as Justin McKinney, Tony V, AJ Hapenny, and many others.
