ABOUT THE COMEDIANS

Zac Maas (headliner) is a comedian, writer, filmmaker and actor from Deadwood, South Dakota, where he grew up surrounded by the Black Hills. He has headlined comedy shows across the US and internationally, from Alaska to Mexico. His first comedy album, Punching Jesus, topped the charts in 2023. He also appeared on Spaghetti High on Adult Swim. He is on the Pro list at The World Famous Comedy Works in Denver, where he lives, and one of the 50 best-undiscovered comedians in the country, according to Thrillist. Zac has been featured at several comedy festivals, including Bridgetown, High Plains, Cape Fear and SnubFest. Zac is also a creative producer and host of various shows and projects, such as Uncalled Four (Comedy Works), The Laugh Night on Earth (Alamo Draft House), Whiskey and Cigarettes podcast (Winner of Westword's Best podcast (beat Serial)), and the Denver Phone It In Film Festival (Recipient of an Imagine 20/20 grant from the city of Denver). He recently directed his first pilot and is in negotiations for development.

Charlie Nadler (feature act) owes his existence to a TV show; his parents met while writing together on Laverne & Shirley. In 10+ years of performing standup while based in Los Angeles, New York City, and now the Berkshires, he has released two albums and told jokes around the world in clubs, colleges, festivals, bars, country clubs, teen centers, basements, attics, and one barber shop. He also develops screenplays and serves as co-founder of Laugh Dealers, a company that produces custom comedy shows and consulting for companies and individuals. Nadler relocated here in 2019 with his wife Cary. Together they raise two cats who do not care for comedy.

Kailey Strafford (host) is a comedian based in Albany, NY. Known for their vulnerability around grief and sexuality, Kailey has performed in venues across the East Coast and is a regular at the Funny Bone Comedy Club.

ABOUT BRIGHT IDEAS BREWING

Founded in 2016 on the campus of the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art, Bright Ideas Brewing started with a simple goal; to provide good beer to museum-goers and North Adams locals alike, creating a common space where the two groups could connect over a beer.

Since then, Bright Ideas has grown and evolved, with every batch of beer aiming to improve on the one that came before. The reach of their beers expanded when they began canning and distributing their beers to local restaurants and package stores around western Massachusetts.

Be sure to also check out their Westfield location, which opened in 2023!
