About the Event

Ever feel like your career is one long skit? You're not alone. Join us for a night of unfiltered comedy, unexpected networking, and a little professional chaos — hosted by two people who left the corporate grind and turned their trauma into punchlines.

Whether you're in tech, consulting, creative, or just between existential crises, this night is for you.

What to Expect

🔥 Name Tags + Career Confessions

Slap on your name & profession. Drop a career confession in the bucket (anonymous, of course) — we'll roast it live.

🎤 Comedy Show

We kick off with short intro sets, sketch comedy, and skits that mock everything from micromanaging PMs to LinkedIn humblebrags.

Plus, a live poll to find out who in the audience is faking it ‘til they make it.

Career Confession Read-Alouds (yes, we guess who wrote them)

💬 Speed Intros: Meet the People Behind the Professions

We'll bring folks on stage for lightning-fast intros and Q&A — with a buzzer if you ramble. Think standup-meets-speed-networking.

🤝 Actual Networking Time (Yes, Really)

Stick around after the show to meet other ambitious weirdos. Who knows? You might leave with a job, a friend, or a new comedy writing partner.

Who Should Come?

Techies, consultants, creatives, freelancers, corporate rebels

People who love stand-up and hate small talk

Anyone who’s ever used Slack and regretted it.

RSVP now — seats are limited, laughs are not.

Frequently asked questions

What is this event, exactly?

It’s a career-themed comedy show meets unhinged networking night, hosted by an ex-PayPal engineer and an ex-BCG consultant who regret everything.

Do I need to be in tech or consulting to come?

Nope! We welcome all professions (yes, even recruiters). Just be ready to laugh at yourself.

What should I bring?

Your business cards, your best (or worst) career confession, and the emotional resilience to be lightly roasted.

How does the "Career Confessions" thing work?

Before the show, drop your anonymous story of a professional screw-up into our bucket. We'll read it on stage and try to guess who you are. It’s like therapy, but funnier and less expensive.

Will I have to go on stage?

Only if you're brave (or foolish) enough to join our Speed Intro segment. We'll pull up to 10 folks for a 3-minute lightning round of intros, questions, and light roasting. You’ll get a buzzer if you ramble.

What kind of networking is this?

Think speed-friending for ambitious weirdos. No stiff handshakes, just good vibes, jokes, and maybe a muffin.

Are there actually free muffins and bagels?

Yes. This is our version of venture capital — carbs and chaos.

Do I need to prepare anything?

Optional: a 30-second intro of what you do, a funny work story, and the strength to laugh at corporate trauma.

Can I bring a friend?

Yes, but if they work in private equity, we will make them explain why.

Techxhausted is on a mission to create a fun safe space for people to come together, enjoy comedy, and vent about their jobs. You are not your jobs. Your jobs are for you to laugh at. Your jobs are for us to laugh at. So come give us some material.
