Where should I sit?

Try and sit where you have a good view of the host and comics, where the mic is being set up.  This allows the comedians to interact with you and you with them.  That's what makes it the most fun!

Will I be picked on?

The crowd work you see online isn't usually what happens at comedy shows.  If you aren't heckling the comedians, they likely won't pick on you.  Occasionally comedians with ask questions of the crowd sitting up front (the splash zone) but most of the time we just do our cute little jokey jokes.

Can I come to a show alone?

Absolutely, you don't have to have a date night to go to a comedy show.  There is a very large bar you can sit at and the tables are set up for socializing so maybe you might meet some new friends!

Should I laugh at the jokes?

If you think the jokes are funny you should laugh!  That's how the comedian knows what kind of jokes the crowd likes and can customize their set to you!  Bars can be a bit loud for the comedian to hear you laugh so clapping when you like a joke can also be a great way to give feedback!

How much does it cost?

While there is no cover for the show we highly recommend trying one of the delicious beers, ciders, or non-alcoholic options from Brew Lab 101!  We also recommend tipping your favorite comedians  as we all have day jobs to support our comedy habit.
