Colourful Semantics

A one-off course helping staff understand some of the principles underlying expressive language develoment and how colourful semantics can support this. The first part of the course will discuss the theory of how children develop their talking skills, where and how problems may arise and how this may be present in an education setting.

The second part of the session will be practical with staff having the opportunity to practice with colourful semantics resources and make their own for topics/books they will be using back in schools.
