About this event

Worried your teen won’t get into college without a 4.0 GPA? You’re not alone — and you do have options.

In this live workshop, I’ll share exactly how students with less than perfect GPA can build strong college lists, submit standout applications, and find schools that fit — academically, socially, and financially.

Whether your student has a few Bs, a lower freshman year GPA, or just doesn’t feel like a “top-of-the-class” type — this workshop will show you what’s still possible.

In this 45-minute session, you’ll learn how to:

✅ Build a smart, balanced college list✅ Understand what colleges really look for — beyond GPA✅ Position your student’s story to stand out in essays and applications✅ Avoid the biggest mistakes that cost families time, money, and confidence✅ Identify colleges that support students holistically — and still offer merit aid

🎓 This is for parents of rising juniors and seniors who want guidance, strategy, and peace of mind — not generic advice from Google or TikTok.

💻 Format: Live via Zoom (replay available if you can’t attend live)💰 Cost: $25 per household🎁 BONUS: All attendees will receive a College Fit Starter Guide and an invite to schedule a free 30-minute consultation

👨‍👩‍👧 Attendance is limited so we can keep it interactive and include time for Q&A.

Frequently asked questions

Who is this workshop for?

This workshop is designed for parents of high school students — especially juniors and seniors — who have GPAs less than 4.0 and want a clear, realistic path to college admission. If your student isn’t a straight-A type but still has goals and potential, this is for you.

Can students attend too?

They can, but the content is specifically geared toward parents. If your student is motivated and wants to learn alongside you, they’re more than welcome to join.

What if my student’s GPA is well below a 4.0?

This still applies! Many of the strategies we’ll discuss help students with mid-range or lower GPAs, especially those who have improved over time or who need a thoughtful, strategic approach.

Will you talk about financial aid or scholarships?

Yes — we’ll discuss merit aid, college affordability, and how GPA plays a role in aid decisions. You’ll learn how to identify schools that offer strong support and money to students with less than perfect transcripts.

Will the workshop be recorded?

Yes! If you register, you’ll receive a replay link even if you can’t attend live. Attending live also gives you the chance to ask questions during the Q&A.

Do I need to prepare anything?

Nope! Just bring your questions and your interest. After the session, you’ll receive a College Fit Starter Guide and an invite to book a free 30-minute consultation.

Will this feel like a sales pitch?

Not at all. I’ll briefly share how I work with families one-on-one at the end, but the workshop is packed with valuable, practical guidance — no pressure, no pushy selling.
