The First Indigenous Evaluators Network Symposium will bring together tribal evaluators, researchers, practitioners, and community members to engage in a collective learning space that honors conversation, understanding, community voice, and flexibility regarding data, evaluation, and research experiences in tribal communities. The purpose of the symposium is to uplift practices that incorporate Indigenous methodologies, Indigenous worldviews, and culture as mechanisms for measuring the overall health and wellness of Indigenous communities and creating space to honor our Indigenous Life Ways in data and evaluation.
Objectives:
· Explore Indigenous Evaluation, centered in Indigenous values and teachings.
· Provide a safe, cultural, and inspiring space for learning.
· Honor our Indigenous Life Ways as evaluators/researchers.
· Engage in nourishing and harvesting our experiences, skills, and work.
