There is a small free parking lot at Soo Visual Arts Center, otherwise there is paid street parking.

Is the venue accessible for people with disabilities?

There is a wheelchair ramp in the front of the gallery. Front doors are not automated. There is also dedicated accessible parking in front of the building, as well as wheelchair accessible bathrooms.

Is there a dress code?

Yes! To dress as you please. Come comfy or dressed to the nines. If you feel good in it - wear it!

Collective Conversations: From the Block to the Gallery is an exciting event happening at the Soo Visual Arts Center. Join us for a lively discussion about the journey of art from the studio to the gallery walls. This in-person event will feature SooVac gallerist Carolyn Payne in conversation with The BLK Collectors. This event is an opportunity to view portions of local collections through SooVac's Collect Call 6 exhibition. All art enthusiasts are invited to come together to demystify collectiing - including accessible art such as prints!
