Overview

Research has shown that having caregiver involvement in treatment significantly increases positive therapeutic outcomes. This training will address working through barriers in caregiver involvement and provide insight on how to partner with caregivers. Goals of this training include how to increase engagement from the start and will provide insight on identifying opportunities to connect with caregivers.

Presenters

Stacey Davison, LCSW - is a seasoned mental health professional with a master’s degree in social work from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. With over two decades of experience, Stacey has dedicated her career to providing compassionate and effective therapeutic services to individuals and families. Stacey has a proven track record of working with diverse populations, including children and families. Her expertise lies in trauma-informed care, play therapy and working with families.

Abigail Munoz, completed her Masters of Arts in Counseling at Adler University in Chicago and has worked in the field of counseling for over 10 years. Abigail is a Functional Family Therapy (FFT) certified counselor as well as Emotionally Focused Family Therapy (EFFT) informed. Abigail currently supervisors the Family System Therapy program in Kenosha through Professional Services Group. Abigail strives to cultivate and inspire a trauma-informed, attachment-based lens to case conceptualization. She believes that including a young client’s family in therapy is essential in the client’s progress.

Can I get a copy of the slides?

When will I receive my CE certificate?
