With a driving groove and smooth, open sound, Sumaia Jackson embodies the modern West Coast fiddler. A Santa Cruz native and Berklee College of Music alum (American Roots Music), she’s toured globally with Jayme Stone’s Folklife, Laura Cortese & the Dance Cards, and played prestigious venues like the Kennedy Center and Celtic Connections. She’s also a member of the Real Vocal String Quartet and released her debut album Möbius Trip in 2019, featuring Colin on guitar.

Colin Cotter is a Bay Area multi-instrumentalist, singer, and songwriter whose projects range from edgy electro-acoustic duo Old Growth Graveyard to the high-energy trio Joe Craven & Frisky! with Joe Craven and Sumaia Jackson. He’s toured the U.S., Canada, Ireland, and Spain, taught at top folk camps, and released multiple albums with bands like MAC and A Thousand Years at Sea. A self-taught guitarist with a rhythmic, expressive style, Colin brings a spirit of adventure and spontaneity to every performance.
