About this event

Immerse yourself in this remarkable space located on Exeter's historic Stepcote Hill, for one of five unique concerts with Cole Stacey as he presents his critically acclaimed debut album Postcards From Lost Places.

This lovingly restored Grade II-listed Victorian Sunday School is a beautiful, intimate space with a unique home-from-home atmosphere. The Hall has had many uses over the years, including a gym for soldiers during the war, village hall and storage for the church organ, but was converted into a theatre in 1959 by Exeter Drama Company.

Bringing together his years of experience on stage, Cole's deeply personal solo shows are rooted in storytelling, directed by a love of popular song and have connection with people and places at their heart.

“A magnificent sound” – Patrick Kielty, BBC Radio 5 Live
