This is a weekly drop-in class designed for individuals 18 and older is to provide a welcoming, stress-free environment where participants engage in casual conversations on a variety of topics. You only need to register once — your first time attending — and then you’re welcome to drop in anytime to continue building your confidence and becoming a more skilled conversationalist.
Meet Our Facilitator: Noreen Abramovitz
With six years of experience teaching ESL, Noreen Abramovitz is dedicated to helping others feel confident and at ease with their English skills. She holds a master’s degree in Human Resources and has taught at two organizations, both in person and virtually, while living in Houston.
SHINE U is an in-house program that highlights the letters "H" hobbies, "I" interests/irritants and "E" experiences from our SHINE framework. The objective is to foster discovery, exploration and experimentation for our participants in a low stakes kind of way. SHINE U workshops connect people with unique hobbies, interests/irritants & experiences to help promote learning, diversity, inclusivity and community.
