Exhibtion Statement:
"Follow The Thread is a group exhibition featuring Omaha-based artists inspired by the cozy, expressive, layered fabrics that surround us every day. Drawing on the rich traditions of sewing, weaving, and quilting, these artists take both literal and metaphorical approaches to connecting with their communities and environments. Their works highlight how fabric can carry memory, comfort, and meaning, while also embracing contemporary interpretations.
For many of the artists, the process itself is meditative, and a reminder to move with purpose, whether through expression, joy, ingenuity, or activism."
