We welcome you to attend a candidate forum hosting in the University District neighborhood, the most densely populated neighborhood in Seattle!

On Saturday, October 18th, the U District will be visited by candidates running for office this November for a townhall style candidate forum. Joining us will be Mayoral Candidates Bruce Harrell and Katie Wilson, Council Position 8 Candidates Alexis Mercedes Rinck and Rachael Savage, Council Position 9 Candidate Dionne Foster, and City Attorney Candidate Erika Evans.

Questions for the event have been predetermined by hosts, and all candidates will have the opportunity to share insight on their priorities and how they plan to address the neaeds of our community. We plan to livestream the event, and will update this page and attendees with a link to access this.

RSVPs are not required to attend. Doors will open at 9:30 and the event will start promptly at 10am.

Before or after the event, we encourage you to explore the University District Farmers Market to check out the wonderful goodies and fresh produce available this season.

This forum is hosted by the University District Community Council, with additional support provided by the Roosevelt Neighborhood Association. We would like to thank Kitanda Coffee and TOASTED for donating coffee for the events.
