COEXISTENCE: SOIL AND SOUND

Overview

Transect of Coexistence Book Event featuring discussions with Ilaria Mazzoleni and Roxanne Korda and performances by NAHR fellow wohnen.

Join us for an evening of discussions and performances as we explore the Coexistence of Sound and Soil. Event hosted by World Over Here and inspired by Nature, Art & Habitat’s recent publication Transect of Coexistence.

Soil is more than dirt, it is the great interconnector: a living, breathing ecosystem beneath our feet, and yet one of the environments we understand least and abuse the most. Our relationship with soil is our direct connection to Earth itself, our common ground.

Through groundbreaking artistic performances and open discussions, we will take a fresh look at soil and explore wider questions concerning nature and culture and humanities’ role in the current climate emergency.

About the book:

Transect of Coexistence: Inquiry into Nature, Art and Habitat - https://nahr.it/BOOK-Transect-of-Coexistence

NAHR:

Nature, Art & Habitat Residency, An ECO-Laboratory of Multidisciplinary Practice, located in Taleggio Valley, Bergamo, Italy, is a summer program that aims to unfold and display a sensitive type of culture that relates to nature as a source of inspiration and a measure of available resources. The ultimate goal of NAHR is to unveil intimate links among all living organisms for more resilient development in which humans and nature are shown to coexist.

World Over Here:

World Over Here (WOH) is a production company and multimedia collective that mobolises storytellers, researchers, and practitioners to amplify stories of justice, reconciliation, and repair. WOH explores power, accountability, and ecological relationships, questioning entrenched power structures and supporting co-created narratives that centre human and more-than-human life to inspire reflection, dialogue, and transformative action.
