HTML & Front-End Fun: Build the Web from Scratch (No Experience Needed!)
Ever wonder what makes a website tick? Spoiler alert: it’s not magic—it’s HTML! Think of HTML as the skeleton of a website, giving structure to everything you see online. Pair that with front-end architecture (a fancy way of saying “organized code and files”), and you’ve got the solid bones of a great site. Or, if we’re talking cocktails, it’s the glass that holds all the good stuff together. 🍸
This event is the kickoff to our 5-part series, the Signature Flight, where you’ll learn how to craft your very own portfolio website from the ground up. Each session will build on the last, giving you the tools and confidence to create something you’ll be proud to show off.
Join us for a fun, hands-on intro to the world of web building! You’ll learn what HTML tags and elements are, how to structure your front-end projects, and why it all matters. Then, you’ll get to roll up your sleeves and start building your own web page—with plenty of help from our amazing mentors.
Zero coding experience? Perfect. We’ve got tons of guidance and good vibes waiting for you. Come curious, leave empowered (and maybe a little obsessed with HTML).

All Coding & Cocktails events are exclusively for women. We are trans and non-binary inclusive.
- No coding experience necessary (we mean that!)
- Wifi-enabled laptop is required (don't have one? Borrow one of ours)
- Must be at least 21 to attend
- Cocktails, non-alcoholic beverages, and dinner served
