Get ready to dive into the world of game design, coding, and creativity at Coding Club: Create, Play & Code! Using fun, drag-and-drop tools like Microsoft MakeCode and Code Arcade, kids ages 9-12 will work together to build their own simple games and animations. No experience needed—just curiosity, imagination and your own device. Projects are easy to follow, and kids can go at their own pace. If interest grows, we may expand into using real micro:bits for coding physical devices like robots and sensors!

Led by an occupational therapist, this group supports important skills like sequencing, planning, visual scanning, and sticking with a task—while having a blast coding cool stuff. Each session takes place in the Great Space, providing a comfortable and collaborative environment for learning and creativity.

Parents and caregivers are encouraged to drop off participants for this group, as it is designed to support independent engagement and peer interaction.

Multiple sessions are available to suit your schedule—join one, a few, or all!

Frequently asked questions

What is The Bridge Center?

The Bridge Center is an inclusive, fully accessible 22-acre campus with fields, a pond, horses, a splash pad, and more. Our recreation, therapy and equestrian programs support social, emotional, and physical growth through group or one-on-one activities tailored to individual needs.

What should we bring?

Please bring a charged device (laptop or tablet) for coding. All other materials will be provided.

Where should we park?

Upon entering The Bridge Center campus, drive straight ahead and park on either side of the red sheds to your left. These areas are marked with orange and yellow parking lot signs.

Where do we meet?

Continue down the road to the second building on your left, The Rudofsky Center, marked by a large welcome sign. If you arrive early, please remain in your vehicle in consideration of the other sessions that are running. A staff member will meet you in the lobby at your scheduled time.

Can we stay on campus before or after the program, or visit other areas?

For safety and privacy reasons, TBC is not open to the public outside of scheduled program time. Participants are kindly asked to arrive and depart according to their program schedule and to remain only in designated areas during that time.

Who runs the group?

Each session is led by a licensed occupational therapist, with support from trained staff. Each session is designed to support skill-building in a fun, engaging, and supportive environment.

Do caregivers need to stay during the session?

Parents and caregivers are encouraged to drop off participants for this group, as it is designed to support independent engagement and peer interaction.
