CoderDojo: Coding Club for Kids!

CoderDojo: Coding Club for Kids!

By CoderDojo & Accenture

Overview

Bi-weekly coding club for 7-10 year olds, kicking off in September suitable from beginner to intermediate levels. Laptop/iPad required.

CoderDojo is a global movement of free, open, volunteer-led coding clubs (Dojos) where young people aged 7-10 years old can explore digital technology and learn to learn to code in a social and safe environment.

Bi-weekly classes at The Dock will be delivered by volunteers from Accenture. The classes will introduce children to Scratch. Scratch is a powerful, visual programming language that provides a great introduction to the world of programming. By snapping blocks together, you can create amazing animations and games.

Please note: Please only select one ticket per child, strictly 6 years+. Parents accompanying their child/children do not require an event ticket. Unfortunately, we are not able to provide devices for this event - please bring a laptop/iPad.
