New Code Ninjas Center Announces Ribbon Cutting and Grand Opening in Gulf Breeze
GULF BREEZE, FL – Code Ninjas, the world’s largest and fastest-growing coding franchise for kids ages 5-14, is opening a new dojo in Gulf Breeze. A ribbon cutting and tour has been scheduled for August 22nd at 1:00 in the new location, at 5668 Gulf Breeze Parkway Suite 12 (across from the Gulf Breeze Zoo).
Gulf Breeze Ribbon Cutting and Tour: August 22, doors open at 12:50 pm
- 1:00 p.m ribbon cuting ceremony: Members of the media, guests and local influencers are invited to attend the ceremony and then stay to tour the new center.
- 1:30 - 2:30 p.m Hands-on Code Ninjas class: Members of the media, guests and local influencers are invited to stay to tour the dojo and experience a hands-on Code Ninja class.
Families are invited to a Grand Opening celebration the next day, August 23rd, from 10 a.m to 12 p.m. to give them an opportunity to tour the dojo and learn more about the Fall programs and classes.
Code Ninjas Gulf Breeze will serve families from Navarre to Gulf Breeze with programs that teach kids, ages 5 to14, how to code through game building, app development, and robotics—all in a fun, safe, dojo-style environment.
Bringing Kids’ Coding, Robotics, and STEM Classes to Gulf Breeze
“Our son loved Code Ninjas when we were stationed in San Antonio,” said Jo Dawn Brown, who co-owns the local centers with her husband, Stephen Brown, an active-duty U.S. Air Force member stationed at NAS Pensacola. “When we moved to Pensacola, we knew kids here deserved the same opportunity to learn skills that prepare them for the future.”
Since opening their first Code Ninjas in Pensacola in 2023, the Browns have introduced coding and problem-solving skills to more than 2,000 local children.
“We’re not just teaching coding,” said Stephen Brown. “We’re helping kids become creators — not just consumers — of technology.”
The new Gulf Breeze location expands access to this fast-growing program with structured coding courses, LEGO robotics teams, and STEM clubs.
Summer 2025 camps started June 30 in a temporary location, Epic Prep Academy in Navarre, giving local kids a head start even before the permanent location’s opening. Code Ninjas is an approved Step Up for Students Direct Pay Provider, making programs more accessible for Florida families using education savings accounts. In addition to year-round classes, the Gulf Breeze center will host after-school programs, weekend workshops, and special events. Code Ninjas Pensacola and Gulf Breeze are also available to partner with schools and organizations.
