Overview

Girls and their parents are invited to explore the outdoors and earn their first patch with Girl Scouts!

Get outdoors with Girl Scouts and earn a patch! Girls in grades K through 5 are invited to explore the outdoors, make new friends, and earn their first Girl Scouts patch.

Meet us at the playground in Quarry Park (map here: download) to join in on a nature scavenger hunt, learn some Girl Scout songs, and make fun campfire themed snacks!

Local volunteers and Girl Scouts of Northern California staff will provide information and be on hand to answer your questions, while girls make new friends and try out Girl Scouts with fun activities.

This free event is for families who have girls in K-5 for the 2025-2026 school year , who are not yet Girl Scouts and reside in or attend school in the Half Moon Bay, Pescadero, Moss Beach, El Granada, Miramar, Montara, Princeton by the Sea, or San Gregorio areas.

Please register your family with the name of the adult who will be our main contact.

Please register in advance so we can ensure that we have enough materials on hand for all of the girls attending and can inform you of any possible changes. Please indicate your girl's grade for the 2025-2026 school year.

Can’t make it? Please RSVP and select 'can't attend' so that we can keep you in the loop.

Please email lvail@gsnorcal.org with questions or if you're ready to get started today!
