  • Attendees must present a current government issued ID at parking entrance (ID name must match registration name

Parking and Tram/Shuttle Information:

  1. Parking Location: 11900 Vista del Mar, Playa del Rey, CA 90293
  2. Park on the 4th or 5th floor of the parking structure.
  3. Take the northeast elevators to the ground f5loor and wait for the tram shuttle at the “Shuttle Drop-Off /Pick-Up” sign.
  4. Arrive at 12:30 p.m. to explore the ELC exhibits!

NOTE: Attendees are NOT ALLOWED TO WALK to the ELC and must take the tram.


BACKGROUND:

The Los Angeles County Department of Beaches and Harbors (DBH), with other coastal agencies spanning from Leo Carrillo Beach to Torrance Beach, is advancing regional coastal resiliency by developing a coalition of stakeholders, conducting shoreline monitoring, and preparing a “Regional Coastal Resiliency Strategic Plan” to protect public beaches and access from coastal erosion.
