CNPS San Diego Nov Chapter Meeting - Members-Only Special Event

In-person: Special Event for CNPS San Diego Chapter members at the San Diego Zoo Safari Park (We will not meet in Balboa Park on Tuesday, November 18.) In lieu of our regular monthly chapter meeting in November, we have planned a special event for CNPS San Diego chapter members at the San Diego Zoo Safari Park in Escondido. The event will begin at approximately noon with an escorted walk through native plant gardens, as we make our way to the Hunte Pavilion where we will enjoy several expert speakers from the San Diego Zoo Wildlife Alliance. Topics will include Seed Banking and Nursery, Plant Conservation-Rare Plants, and Natural Lands Management-Plant Monitoring. Wrap up will be around 4 pm. CNPS San Diego Chapter members will receive free Park admission. Seating is limited to 150, so look for our forthcoming free registration on Eventbrite to sign up. The parking cost is $20 per vehicle. The San Diego Zoo Safari Park is the San Diego Zoo’s sister park to the northeast in Escondido, located at 15500 San Pasqual Valley Road.
