Let your imagination run wild and enjoy this one-of-a-kind event in the heart of the city. There will be TWO GROUPS for this one to keep space manageable and model/artists comfortable!!! Choose wisely! If you want to you CAN attend both (space permitting) as a photographer or as a model by purchasing tickets to both groups!

What is Shibari?

In contemporary times, Shibari has been embraced as a form of artistic expression. The intricate patterns and the skill involved in rope bondage are seen as a form of art. This is evident in its presence in modern photography, live performances, and art installations.

Why clowns?

Because. That’s why.

Can I take pictures?

This is a photo event! If you’re a photographer we have 6 spaces slotted in 2 shifts for this event. These will sell fast and there will be NO LATE ADDITIONS for this event. Space is very limited and the prep time for performers and riggers is very important before and after a tie.

How will this work?

Models will have the opportunity to be tied by one of several riggers in attendance. We intend to have 1 or 2 suspension rigs, but that is not a guaranteed experience. Shibari is a huge exercise in trust, so spend the proper time to communicate before, during and after this experience!

What about the Second Sunday rotation?

This go round, models will be placed into one setting and photographers will be in a rotation. There’s a small chance that models who aren’t suspended may be able to use different sets, but it will be a “game-time” decision if we can do this or not.
