Clown for all workshop with Julia Vanderveen
Overview
There are infinite ways to be funny and if you're reading this, you may know a few ways you have been funny in the past. Or perhaps you think you are not funny at all.The practice of clowning asks the performer to forget some of what they know intellectually and to remember the innate pleasure of being on stage and of discovering how they are funny with an audience. In this workshop, we will play games to get out of our heads and to remember the physical pleasure of play. We will focus on vocal and physical impulse, complicité or playing with other people, and of using the flop as a beautiful tool for discovery.Whether you've taken a clown workshop before or not, this workshop will remind you of the joy of presence and of being alive. This is a great opportunity to embrace the unknown and see how you can surprise yourself.
