Located on the southern San Mateo County coast, 5,000-acre Cloverdale Ranch Preserve is an ecological jewel with a rich diversity of native plants and wildlife. Docent Naturalists Chris Christensen and Teri Baron will lead a moderately-paced hike across coastal grasslands to the summit of "High Hill" offering spectacular views of Pescadero and the surrounding landscape. The hike will focus on the acquisition history of the property and Cloverdale's unique natural and cultural history. Bring a lunch. Reservations are required and will be accepted on or after November 1 at 12:00 p.m. (Noon) and close November 14 at 2:00 p.m.
