Welcome to Clothes for Every Body: Mending Workshop! Join us on Sun May 18 2025 at 3:00 PM at PLACE - Community Center, Makerspace & Permaculture Site for the second of three workshops that teaches you how to alter your clothes to fit you better! Each session is offered at $30-60 sliding scale, the lower end of the scale reserved for QTBIPOC, for two hours of learning and practice on a provided sample or your own garment!

In this workshop, you'll learn how to mend your clothes by machine and hand. We'll spend the first hour teaching and demonstrating darning and visible mending techniques, and the second hour practicing. We'll have sewing samples for you to practice on, and you're welcome to bring 1 garment that needs mending. Whether you're a beginner or have some sewing skills, this workshop is perfect for anyone looking to upcycle their wardrobe.
