Welcome to Clothes for Every Body: Hemming Workshop! Join us on Sun June 1 2025 at 3:00 PM at PLACE - Community Center, Makerspace & Permaculture Site for one of three workshops that teaches you how to alter your clothes to fit you better! Each session is offered at $30-60 sliding scale, the lower end of the scale reserved for QTBIPOC, for two hours of learning and practice on a provided sample or your own garment!

In this workshop, you'll learn how to take in and let out your clothes by machine. We'll spend the first hour teaching and demonstrating the skills, and the second hour practicing. We'll have sewing samples for you to practice on, and you're welcome to bring 1 of your old clothes that need a size change. This workshop requires some basic sewing machine knowledge (how to thread and sew)
