The Mohawk Valley Economic Development District, Inc. (MVEDD) sustainability team will be giving a presentation on the Climate Smart Communities program.

This program, under the Department of Environmental Conservation, is designed to provide a framework for NYS municipalities to implement projects and measures that will reduce greenhouse gas emissions, improve a community’s resilience to flooding and storms, and help municipalities plan for future events through planning projects.

The CSC program is voluntary, self-paced and self-guided. Join us for a presentation to learn more about how the program works, the benefits the program can bring to your community, and how to get started!

We will also be hearing from some local CSC taskforce members on their experience participating in the program. Hope to see you there!

This event is created in partnership with MVEDD, SEEC & The Waterfall Center for Bioregional Learning.
