About this event

  • Event lasts 2 hours

Join us in Venice for an aperitivo and a workshop exploring how to drive a dietary shift toward healthy diets and sustainable food systems across Europe. This event offers a unique opportunity to explore cutting-edge strategies and co-create innovative solutions that address the challenges limiting the large-scale adoption of sustainable diets.

Discover the core pillars of the SWITCH project and get inspired by local initiatives born within the Food Hubs — true living labs for co-creation and experimentation. Through thematic discussion tables focused on digital innovation, community leadership, food policy, and ethnographic insights into dietary behaviours, you will have the opportunity to engage with leading speakers and actively contribute to defining concrete solutions for a sustainable food future.

The workshop will culminate with an interactive demo of the Food Explorer digital tool — empowering participants to make informed and sustainable food choices — followed by an aperitivo, providing the perfect setting to deepen connections and exchange ideas.

This event is organized by SWITCH, an EU-funded project (Project number: 101060483; CUP C23C23000000006). The overarching goal of SWITCH is to improve understanding of knowledge, accessibility, and facilitation gaps that limit the present large-scale adoption of sustainable and healthy diets among European citizens. SWITCH develops and demonstrates innovative solutions and tools to support policymakers and all multi-actors of the European food system in the transition towards healthy and sustainable dietary behaviour.
