The world is facing twin climate and biodiversity emergencies, which are inextricably linked. Nature is in serious decline nationally and internationally, with the UK being one of the most nature depleted countries in the world.

Horsforth Climate Action are therefore launching a Nature Recovery Plan for Horsforth. We would like to invite people who want to take local action for nature to discuss how this can be implemented.

7pm Welcome and Introductions

7.10pm Pete Tatham from Hyde Park Source: The Community Nature Recovery Toolkit and learnings from Leeds Nature Recovery Conference held on 19th June

7.25pm Group discussions on creating a baseline survey, exploring obstacles, identifying interventions and increasing engagement. Including a break for drinks and refereshments.
