Dr. Yan Pogorelsky:

Dr. Yan Pogorelsky is the Founder and Clinical Director at Orthosnap. He graduated from Third Medical and Dental Institute of Moscow in 1993 and founded AXIS Smile Center & AXIS Dental Laboratory Inc. for 14 years in Brooklyn, NY, before founding Orthosnap Corp in 2010. He is the inventor of several patents including the Dynamic Physical Model (DPM) or SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR INCREMENTALLY MOVING TEETH, United States Patent No. 20110236849 and is a lecturer and presenter in the clear aligner industry.

Michael Yoon:

Michael is the President and CEO of Orthosnap Corp. He has held senior leadership positions at Morgan Stanley, Barnes&Noble, and Bloomberg, and has experience growing successful startup companies from the ground up. He is an active investor and venture partner at several venture firms, with a focus in the oral health industry. He has an Engineering degree from McGill, and an MBA from Columbia.

COURSE DESCRIPTION:

The presentation goal is to increase provider's understanding of the Clear Aligner industry through three chapters. First we discuss industry dynamics, threats, and opportunities. Then we move into clinical details of biomechanics, techniques, innovations, and compliance. And finally, we dive into the business aspects including practice management integration, pricing, marketing, and business growth.

COURSE OBJECTIVES:

Understanding the Industry's Chief Complaint. The objective is to provide an analysis of the market, emerging trends, and the stakeholders with their roles and motivations.

The objective is to build the provider's confidence through understanding biomechanics and proper protocol of progress monitoring through Orthodontic treatment with clear aligners. We will discuss which technological advancements are truly benefiting the daily practice workflow and what can be used for new patient marketing and making yourself visible. We will discuss issues that affect treatment compliance and methods to address these for the mutual benefit of doctor/patient relationship. Finishing: The objective is to provide practical methods and suggestions to address practice management issues as well as techniques to help drive business growth in the practice through integration of clear aligner treatment. We will discuss the impact of pricing, LTV, and taking an active role in the doctor/patient relationship.
