Cleaning House: Return to the New - Opening Reception

Rare Ink Gallery is proud to present Cleaning House: A Return to the New by Luke Walter, an immersive exhibition that brings together his photography, printmaking, and text-based works. Over the past several years, Walter has revisited accumulated materials, deferred ideas, and foundational techniques, transforming old objects and images into vibrant new forms. By printing directly onto collected surfaces such as wood and metal, he honors their histories while opening them to fresh interpretations.

The exhibition also features text-based works that run alongside the prints, reflecting themes of memory, reflection, and narrative. Together, the works trace a path of creative clearing and renewal, offering visitors a chance to witness how returning to familiar processes can spark innovation and transformation.
