Come join us for art making and community building through clay!

Drop in and join us for a hands-on pottery event where you will create your own art from our menu of fun clay projects. Projects range from $10 - $30, and there's something for everyone!

  • All tools, materials and individual workspaces provided
  • You choose the colors to finish the look
  • Stoneware clay and glazes are food safe, microwave & dishwasher safe
  • Finished pieces can be picked up from the Motherpottery booth in two weeks

Perfect for beginners and experienced potters alike, you’ll build a custom piece that’s as functional as it is artistic.

All levels welcome, no experience required! Kids 6+ welcome.

About Us:

Linda Rosenberg found her love of ceramics at a young age while attending Cranbrook Kingswood in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. She is the creator of Motherpottery, and sells her work weekly at the Palms Farmer's Market.

Whitney Osborne is a ceramic and textile artist who has been working with clay for over 15 years. A former apparel designer, she combines her love of design with her passion for teaching.

Frequently asked questions

What should I wear?

The workshop space is an outdoor booth within the Farmers Market, so please dress accordingly for the weather. Clay is washable.

Will there be food and drink?

Water and Spindrift will be provided for pottery participants. You are also encouraged to support the amazing farmers and local vendors at the market.

Is the event ADA accessible?

We believe art is for everyone. Our workshop space is ADA accessible. Please reach out with any accommodations request.

Where can I park?

There is street parking around the Market and in the surrounding neighborhood.
