Come join us for a day of art making and community building through clay!

Join us for a hands-on pottery workshop where you will handbuild your own unique ceramic soap dish or catchall tray. Choose your own color combinations from our specialized food and dishwasher safe glazes.

  • All tools, materials and individual workspaces will be provided
  • We will bisque and glaze fire your pieces
  • Students can pick up their finished pieces from the studio two weeks after the workshop

Perfect for beginners and experienced potters alike, you’ll leave with a custom piece that’s as functional as it is artistic.

All levels welcome, no experience required!

About Us:

Linda Rosenberg found her love of ceramics at a young age while attending Cranbrook Kingswood in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. She is the creator of Motherpottery, and sells her work weekly at the Palms Farmer's Market.

Whitney Osborne is a ceramic and textile artist who has been working with clay for over 15 years. A former apparel designer, she combines her love of design with her passion for teaching.

What should I wear?

The space is indoor / outdoor, so please dress accordingly for the weather. Even though the clay is washable, please wear clothes that you don't mind getting dirty.

Will there be food and drink?

Water and seltzers will be provided. You are welcome to bring your own snacks!

Are children or pets allowed?

Claydate LA is a 16+ only workshop series. To ensure everyone's safety, please leave your pets at home.

Is the event ADA accessible?

We believe art is for everyone. Our workshop space is ADA accessible. Please reach out with any accommodations request.

What is your cancellation / refund policy?

As much as we understand that conflicts may arise, we cannot accommodate any changes, cancellations or refunds.

Where can I park?

There is plenty of free street parking in the neighborhood. The exact address of the studio will be given upon registration.
